INVESTITURE OF HER EXCELLENCY DR. GLORIA DOUYE DIRI INTO THE NOGALSS BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Yenagoa, 16th July 2024 - The Nigerian Non-Governmental Association For Literacy Support Services (NOGALSS) is delighted to announce the successful investiture of Her Excellency, Dr. (Mrs.) Gloria Douye Diri, into our esteemed Board of Trustees by our National President Comrade Noah Emmanuel. The event took place on 16th July 2024 at the Bayelsa State Government House, Yenagoa.
Her Excellency's acceptance of this significant role underscores her unwavering commitment to advancing literacy and education in Nigeria. During the investiture, Dr. Gloria Douye Diri pledged her full support to NOGALSS and ready to discharge her responsibility as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the achievement of a Literate, Educated and Empowered Nigeria, promising to work tirelessly to ensure that education for all is attained.
The NOGALSS National President Comrade Noah Emmanuel was accompanied by Distinguished Personalities, including NOGALSS Chairman Council of Elders For a Literate Nigeria HRM King Alfred Papapreye Diette-Spiff, DF, CFR, GSSRS, JP, Vice Chairman of NOGALSS BoTs Chief (Mrs.) Faustina Egbunike, other esteemed Members of the Board of Trustees are the *One Man Battalion Pst. Israel Olajumoke, Dr. Martin Ighoyivwi, Engr . Ferdinand Onoja*, National Officers, Deputy National Vice President and State Chairmen South South Zone. Their presence and support were deeply appreciated.
The event was graced by the Wife of the Deputy Speaker, Wife of the House Leader, State Commissioners, and other highly Distinguished Personalities in Bayelsa State.
Comrade Noah Emmanuel also commended the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State for his unwavering commitment to education, which continues to set a powerful example for the entire nation. Additionally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pst. Isreal Olajumoke, a dedicated Member of the NOGALSS Board of Trustees, for his tireless efforts in facilitating this investiture ceremony.
