NOGALSS CONGRATULATES HER EXCELLENCY, PROFESSOR MODUPE ADELABU FOR THE SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH OF HER GROUNDBREAKING BOOK
The Nigerian Non-Governmental Association For Literacy Support Services (NOGALSS), under the leadership of its National President, Comrade Noah Emmanuel, extends warm congratulations to the Her Excellency, Former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State and Member NOGALSS Board of Trustees Professor Modupe Adelabu on the outstanding success of her book launch titled "NAVIGATING THE POLITICS OF UNIVERSAL EDUCATION POLICIES IN NIGERIA." The event, which took place on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the NAF Conference Center in Abuja, was nothing short of a resounding success, drawing the attendance of numerous dignitaries and education stakeholders from across the country.
One of the most notable highlights of the event was the participation of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Kashim Shettima, who graced the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour. In his remarks, the Vice President underscored the pivotal role that education plays in national development, emphasizing the urgent need for reforms in the education sector. His presence and insightful comments not only added significance to the event but also affirmed the importance of Professor Adelabu's work in shaping the future of education in Nigeria.
The event also witnessed the presence of other esteemed personalities, including APC Party Leader Chief Bisi Akande, the Chairman of the event; Mr. Adokiye Ikpoki, who served as the Chief Launcher; H.E. Chief (Mrs.) Bisi Adeleye Fayemi, the Mother of the Day; and distinguished Fathers of the Day, General Alani Akinrinade (Rtd) and Chief Pius Akinyelure, Chairman of NNPC Ltd. The Royal Father of the Day, Oba Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, alongside the Chief Host, H.E. Abiodun Oyebanji, the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, further enriched the occasion with their presence and support.
