AGILE FACILITATORS TRAINING PROGRAM DAY 3

28 February, 2025

About the Event

The CEO of Help Africa Women and Children Foundation (HAWCF) Mrs. Edna Uba participated in a 3-day facilitators training held on February 26-28, 2025, by the Nasarawa State Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) program.

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment, (AGILE) Project is a World Bank assisted project of the Federal Ministry of Education geared at improving secondary education opportunities for adolescent girls aged between 10 and 20. Adolescent girls in Nigeria are generally faced with challenges that prevent them from accessing and completing secondary education due to socio-cultural, financial constraints, and infrastructural deficits.

Mrs Edna Uba commend the efforts of the Nasarawa State Government and the AGILE coordinator for their selfless services and humanitarian support.
