About the Event
The Non-Governmental Association for Literacy Support Services (NOGALSS), contracted by UNESCO to implement ACTIVITY 4.2.2 DEVELOP INFORMATION AND EDUCATION PACKAGE ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS/SEXUAL AND GENDER BASED VIOLENCE /HARMFUL PRACTICES/ SEXUAL REPRODUCTIVE AND HEALTH RIGHTS FOR DISSEMINATION THROUGH MULTIPLE POINTS FOCUSING ON BASIC EDUCATION has produced packages to be distributed in selected schools and learning centres in Adamawa, Cross River, Ebonyi, Lagos, Sokoto States and the FCT.
the unveiling ceremony of Spotlight Initiative Information and Education Packages on Violence against Women and Girls for Basic Education in Nigeria took place on 7th December, 2021 at UN House Abuja FCT.
