OUR SLOGAN:

Brining Hope Alive

MEET OUR CEO, EVANG. BARTHOLOMEN EKATA.

A man immersed in passion, driven by consistency and rooted in Jesus Christ.

Evang. Bartholomen was born in February 1985 in Edo state, Nigeria. He grew up with his Mother in an area characterized by human degradation, poverty and starvation. Evangelist Bartholomew Ekata experienced high level of pain while growing up and as a result, that led to the discovering of his “Unique Brand Identity (UBI)”.

Evangelist Bartholomew has always been a man that is sensitive to the leading of the spirit. And as a result, through the help of the Holy Spirit he travelled to Europe in 2009. But while still in Africa, he perceived the mandate of an evangelistic calling which God has committed to him, but didn’t take the call to heart.

God kept perturbing him, but he remained undisturbed and realistically adamant just like Jonah; not until after he was in trouble in Italy, which landed him in Prison in 2011 that he decided to consider Gods' purpose
for his life. While he was in prison, one of the nights, while he was praying and weeping, he fell into a trance. In the trance, God spoke clearly to him about His scripted plans and purpose for his Life.

Evangelist Bartholomew while in Europe, worked in a dynamic organization which offers the poor access to food without fee. That organization, which still functions effectively till date, runs freely without pause, because selfless wealthy and average citizens, do donate on a monthly basis towards the smooth running of the organization. When Evangelist Bartholomew saw the operation pattern of this organization, once again, but in a more specific tune; the voice commanded him to return to Africa and replicate what he has seen. And his return to Africa as instructed formulated and birthed the divinely predestinated organization -Good Morning Jesus Family Foundation.

Bartholomew is privileged to have taken the gospel of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ to some cities in Italy, and countries in Europe. Despite not having a rigid sponsorship from any individual or cooperate institution, he single handedly started, “Good Morning Jesus Family Foundation”, at the  first quarter of 2016. Good Morning Jesus Family Foundation, which has a relationship with the voice that has been perturbing him, is aimed at restoring the dignity and hope of Africans, through sustainable community developmental projects. The foundation currently operates only in Edo state, Nigeria. But there is high level of marginal positive propensity and desire, which will no doubt result in the spread of the foundation in, and outside of Nigeria and across the entire African region.

Evangelist Bartholomew Ekata had flare for the things of God Almighty since he was a child. He Loves and can die for whatever concerns God. He has been called to service to operate in the office of an evangelist, to find the lost sheep of our Lord and to meet their every need. Be it physical or spiritual.
As we do well know, evangelism is always difficult in areas that are characterized with poverty and hardship, because those who are hungry may not have the desired tranquil and attentive spirit during
ministrations which brings about spiritual refinement. And as a result, our visionary included the physical food scheme to his ministry as a catalyst for soul wining during evangelism.
He is also the founder of Bethesda Orphanage Home, a brain child of Good morning Jesus Family Foundation that was founded in the year 2021.

To the Glory of God almighty,  he was recently certified as a proficiency professional by the institute for humanitarian studies and social development,  Nigeria, in partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research  (UNITAR), having satisfactory completed the course covering the following areas:

Essentials and dynamics of NGO management.

  • Community needs assessment.
  • Community mobilisation.
  • Sustainable development goals (SDGs).
  • Advocacy and Policy Influencing.
  • Ethics in Humanitarian leadership.
  • Fund rasing and proposal writing.
  • Strategic/work plan development and project sustainability.

He is happily married and He's blessed with a boy and a girl

FEED THE POOR

A life changing initiative designed to help reach out to underprivileged kids and widows in need of food to survive.

The goal of this project is to inspire smile on the face of underprivileged people in the society by providing them with cooked meal and foodstuff.

The project was designed to achieve the following objectives:

  • Assist in enhancing the health condition of the underprivilege in the community.
  • Help the vulnerable operate on genuine love and adapt to a new culture of living.

Some of the events under this project include:

Valentine’s reach-out campaign:

Our valentine’s reach-out campaign took place on 14th February, 2018, and 14th February, 2022. This impact experience involves the distribution of cooked meal to beggars on the street.

On Saturday 24th February, 2018, our unending passion for the survival of humanity and the sustainability of our environment led our team to host this project where we gave out raw food to 30 widows and 1 disabled Nigeria. On the said date, we gave out 1 rubber of rice, 4 units of tin tomato, 2 pack of salt, 1 pack of Maggi, 1 liter of groundnut oil and cash gift was presented to some selected widows.

The epic event was an awesome experience due to the opportunity it availed us to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus to all the beneficiaries. Our message to them before distributing the food items was that they should let go of unstructured Gods, operate on genuine love, adapt to a culture of giving without expecting anything in return. Most importantly, we admonish them to surrender their life to JESUS so that greater things can flow into their life.

After the experience in Uromi on 24th February, 2018, many other experiences of it kind has taken place in different location.

Some other outreach of this kind embarked on are:

  • On 29th January, 2023, our team organized “feed the poor outreach” at Ogua Community, Ikpoba Okha LGA, Benin City, Edo State.
  • On 4th January, 2023, our team organized this same initiative in Uromi, Edo State.
  • On 28th August, 2023, our team organized “feed the poor outreach” at Ogua Community, Ikpoba Okha LGA, Benin City, Edo State.

COMMUNITY IGNITE

This impact driven initiative is an evangelistic drive aimed at reaching out to rural communities and villages with the message of hope and salvation. Apart from sharing the unadulterated word of God with the attendees, as a way of expressing our deep love for them, we also give out clothes and shoes to interested participants.

Humanity is beautiful and every privilege we have to serve humanity with betterment gladdens our heart greatly. For us, we believe that there is no better way to serve betterment to humanity than by preaching the unadulterated word of God and reaching out to the underprivileged with clothing materials.

Thus far, we have taken this message of hope and salvation to the following villages and communities.

  • Uhi Village, Uhunwonde LGA, Edo State.
  • Ayadi Village, Akure, Ondo State.
  • Tempoga Community, Benin City, Edo State.
  • Onitsha-Ugbo, Asaba, Delta State
