In Adamawa State, Ebonyi State and FCT, the EU-UN Spotlight Initiative implemented by NOGALSS under UNESCO has already made remarkable progress in providing Accelerated Second Chance Education to out-of-school girls and young women. These participants are now acquiring literacy skills, enhancing their self-esteem, and gaining knowledge for further education and economic independence. Moreover, gender-based violence awareness and prevention efforts are empowering women and girls to recognize and prevent abuse. We have 10,000 beneficiaries in Adamawa, Ebonyi and FCT. Adamawa beneficiaries are 4,500; Ebonyi State beneficiaries are 3,000 while FCT beneficiaries are 2,500. In all the States, we are working in collaboration with the State Agencies for Mass Education, Community Leaders and Member NGOs.
